Note: This section is still under development, when you see a hike you’d like to do and there’s no Komoot or Google Maps Link added yet, usually you’ll find the beginning of the trail by looking up the destination in Google Maps (example: Briksdalsbreen for the “Briksdalsbreen trail”) and from there you follow the signs, red dots and red “T’s”.

Austerdalsbreen Hike
A remote hike offering views of three glacier arms, often called the ‘Glacier King.’

Bergsetbreen Hike
A moderate hike through valleys and forests to the Bergsetbreen Glacier.

Bødalsbreen
A scenic hike to the Bødalsbreen glacier arm, offering close-up views of the glacier and beautiful mountain landscapes.

Bøyabreen Glacier View
A short, easy walk to a stunning viewpoint of the Bøyabreen glacier arm. Perfect for families and quick visits. You don’t need a map, you’ll see where to go when you arrive at the parking spot

Briksdalsbreen Trail
A popular hike to the picturesque Briksdal glacier arm, featuring beautiful waterfalls and glacier views.

Erdalsbreen Hike
A strenuous hike to the remote Erdalsbreen Glacier, offering pristine nature. Not recommended when wet as the last km is steep and slippery when wet.

Flatbrehytta (Flatbreen Glacier View)
A demanding hike with breathtaking views of Flatbreen glacier and surrounding peaks. The hike ends at Flatbrehytta, a mountain hut with panoramic views.
Fosdalssætra
A picturesque hike to an old summer farm, offering beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

Haugabreen Hike
A scenic hike with close access to the Haugabreen Glacier, perfect for a glacier experience.
Kjenndalsbreen Circuit
A varied hike around the Kjenndalen valley, offering views of Kjenndalsbreen glacier and mountain scenery.

Nigardsbreen Nature Trail
An accessible trail with informative panels about the glacier and local flora, ending with a view of Nigardsbreen. Alternatively, you are able to take a boat HALF way to the glacier arm.

Oppheim to Hoven (Loen Skylift)
A scenic hike from Oppheim to Hoven, featuring varied landscapes and stunning views ending at the top of Loen Skylift. This hike you best combine with a hike to Rakssetra (listed as separate hike)
